CHICAGO (ANP* — Miss Eroseanna Robinson was in her 21st day rf fasting Monday in the federal detention section of the Cook Coui.ty jail. Miss Robinson is the former athlete and social worker who refuses to pay her income tax because some of it will be used “for military and war purposes.” A member of an anti-war. anticommunist group called the Peacemakers. Miss Robinson has avoided paying income tax since 1954 by limiting her income to less than $600 per year. THE FEDERAL CHARGE against her is not refusing to pay taxes, but refusing to tile a tax return. She was put in jail, however, for refusing to answer questions put to | her by Federal Judge Edwin Robson. IMson officials say she exercises j strenuously every da\ in the nude. | entertains visitors, but accepts only ! water for sustenance.
