19-year-old John Morrow, 919 E. 24th, was found guilty of violation of the 1935 Narcotics Act, and his friend, Warren Maxey, 19, 3550 N. Illinois, was freed after he said he didn’t know Morrow had the pills, known as “red devils.” Both boys were sci/ed r in the school Idcker room by school gaurd, George Martin, a retired policeman. William Wharton Funeral services for William Wharton, 73, who died Feb. 10 in hts home, 2435 Guilford, were held Feb. 13 in Willis Mortuary, with burial Feb 15 at Lebanon, Tenn. Born at Greenwood. Tenn., Mr. Wharton had lived in Indianapolis 55 years and had retired as an iron weigher for the Link-Belt Company
