OES Degree Team Has Dedication Rites
The OES Degree Team held dedication services for their newly purebred Amaranth degree banners recently at Fidelity Lodge and Purity Chapter Hall at 40th and Capitol. The histor of the team was read by one of the youngest members, Mrs. Hazel Whittaker, and the early history of the organization was given by one of the oldest

SPEEDY CORN CHOWDER WITH WEINER SLICES (Makes IVa quarts soup)
4 flic** bacon 1/2 cup chopped opion 1 % cups chicken broth 1 teaspoon celery salt
1 package ( 3 /» ounce) instant mashed potatoes 2 cups cream-style corn 1 2 / 3 cups (large can) undiluted CARNATION EVAPORATED MILK
Cut the bacon in small pieces. Brown in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and cook over low heat until soft and golden. Add chicken broth and celery salt. Bring to boil. Remove from heat. Stir in inC iei (109) Printed in U S A.

Penguins Resume Pettikoats Set
KING OF THE COWBOYS: Roy Rogers and his wife, Dale Evans, get their copy of the new family-size "Around-the-World' stamp album at the Indiana State Fair. Two sons, Dusty and Sandy, are ardent stamp collectors, but Roy says, The whole family will probably save stamps now. This is really educational!"
