Armin Graul Opens Health Reading Room Believing that people are not as concerned about their health as they should be, Armin Graul, Eastside businessman, has been instrumental in setting up a reading room, replete with volumes on health apd hygiene, at Douglas community center. “People are funny,” says the owner of Graul’s department, store at 25th and Martindale. “Tell them how to live and keep in good health, and they think you want to take some of their enjovments away from them. “We are what our food makes us. What we eat today walks and talks tomorrow.” Mr. Graul. 81. has been in busine? r on the citv’s Eastside for 64 years during which time he has shown r genuine interest in the vounvsters in the Douglas a^ea. It is mainly for them, he said, that he wants to create interest in physical fitness. Cap t:>l, Apt. 2. Stephanie Hurt received secondand bird-degree burns on both legs when the davenport near her crib caught fire. Her 17-year-old mother, Mrs. Olivia Hurt, was aslevp in another room at the time. At General hospital Stephanie’s cond-tion was listed critical and poor Thursday.

James were to be honored Friday evening for two deegdes of "loyal and unselfish service" to the Federation of Associated Clubs, Inc., and their community.
