LAST FALL fir: received a first-place drawing award in the Kentucky Stale rair and an honorable mention in the Indiana State Fair. In 1954 he won a second-place prize for an oil potrait in the Indiana State Fair. Among the works being shown at the Lieber gallery are portraits ol some recent John Herron graduates and ianoscapes from camp-ing-vacation trips.
JOHN MOORE Services for John Moore, 75, j 339 Northern, who died May 12 in General Hospital, were held May 15. in the Patton Funeral Home. Burial was in Crown Hill. A native of Smithfield. Virginia. Mr. Moore had lived in Indianapolis for 50 years. For many years he had served as butler for many prominent families, including the Booth Tarkington family. He was a member of Second Christian Church and the Chauffeurs Club.
