8—The Indianapolis Recorder, May 25,1957 Notre Dome To Honor Bunche Kalph Bunch, under-secretary of the United Nations, will he among a number of notables to receive honorary degrees from Notre Dame university at commencement exercises June 2. Chief Justice Earl Warren of the US Supreme Court will be the commencement speaker. The famous desegregation decision of the court was handed down shortly after he was named to the bench by President Eisenhower.

WHIPPED LEMON TOPPING — It’s easy to whip Vi cup PET Evaporated MILK 16 teasp. grated lemon rind 4 teasp. sugar 2 teasp. lemon juice Chill milk in ice tray until almost frozen around edges. Put ice-cold milk into a cold 1-quart bowl with sugar. Whip with cold rotary beater by hand, or with electric beater at high speed, until fluffy. Add lemon rind and juice. Whip until stiff. (Serve as topping on puddings, plain cake, pies or other desserts.) Makes 1 cup.
