Convention Moves After Hotel Snubs Negro Delegate HAVERHILL, Mass. (ANP) — The Massachusetts Bapdst Convention said Friday it cancelled seven reservations at Treeholm hotel | here because officials refused at first—to accept the reservation of one of them, a Negro. . The convention said Dr. George D. Kelsey, a professor at Drew University, Madison, N. J., was turned down when he appeared at the hotel with six other featured speakers scheduled to <be Roused there. Protests created by the incident quickly brought an apology from Joseph Mossina, owner of the hotel, srd he offered to house ali dele-

gates, regardless of color, and whether other guests liked it or not. The Rev. Clifford Mooden, host to the convention, said he had received the apology through his secretary but that convention guests had confirmed their new registrations and would remain where they were.
