By Mrs. Willa L. Hunt MUNCIE — With a pledge to dean the city and declaring that Muncie will never be an “open city’" again, Lester E. Holloway assummed duties as the city’s new mayor last week. The Democratic administration opened ThursJay morning, when Mr. Holloway stated that men and women he appointed to serve with him would be “on their own”, and that it would be left to them and them alone to hold their jobs after the appointments were made.
