It is easy to understand w h y Robeson is the greatest of Harlem's heroes — a Black Knight whom New York’s Negro community would rather acclaim than a Lindbergh, and whom men a n d women and children of Harlem swarm around whenever he
walks down the street.
For Robeson is several things that most any youngster of his race would like to be. He is a notable singer, as his current popularity in recitals here proves. He is a notable actor—one of t he, foremost of
his race. He is a graduate of Rut-1 from five cents to forty cents, gers college and Columbia Law | The rates for station-to-station school. He is a Phi Beta Kappa. A I calls during the discounted rate pephysical mountain of a man, he j j'iod, evening, 7 to 8.30; night, 8:30
