The Old Year and The New The years are books, In which to write; Deeds of the light, Or, of the night. The book of nineteen hundred eight, Is closed and sealed forever; We ne’er can open it again, To change a deed, no never. We can’t erase a single blot, From the year that passed away; But with God’s help we can improve The year that begins to-day. Look, Mrs. Susie Anderson has moved to 324 Iniiana Ave. I must say my best advertisements are never printed: they are around town, ladies are wearing the hats and feathcleaned, curled and dyed that came from my store—of course they tell their friends about me. A pleased customer is the best advertisement. The following is a clipping from the Campbellsville Notes: The finest display of Millenery art ever s own in our little city was placed on exhibition in the <\ M. E. Church by the Millinery class of Mrs. Susie Anderson of Indianapolis, Ind. The ladies hats built by our young ladies under the direction of Mrs. Anderson were the finest line of hats ever shown in our city. Mrs. Anderson is doing a work for our people, teaching the young ladies to make hats for themselves and not to depend on the otner race to furnish them hats.
