Meet Me at The Rink Unique Program at tha Mascot Skat ing Rink Tuesday Night. The skating contest Tuesday evening proved to be a very enthusi astic afftir. The one mile race for the gentlemen seemed to have pleased everyone present as did the ladies’ half mile race. Preston Edwards was awarded first place in the former race and Miss Jessie Dukes received first prize in the latter. The spectators, i’S well as those who were on skates, gave their hardy approval to the fact that the Mascot Rink is the rink ot new ideas and that it is only place to spend an evening of pleas, ure. , On next Wednesday evening a match race between Prest Johnson, the city’s fastest skater, and Luther Boles for the amatuer championship. This promises to be a tight race as both of the contestants are fast men. A large crowd is anticipatecj upon being present. Dancing is a special feat ure on Tuesday and Thursday evening.
