“What Delicious Sandwiches** Some housewives just seem to be natural bom cooks. A luncheon at their homes is always looked forward to and remembered long after it is past Their success, while it is due largely to their ability, does not depend entirely on that Even the best of cooks can produce better results if she uses a better flour. Valier’s Enterprise Flour represents the pinnacle of modem ' milling skill, it is ground carefully from selected hard wheat, fully matured and rich in gluten. Such grain is very scarce and commands a high premium on the market Yet we consider no other. We believe that you appreciate the economy of using the best flour that can be milled, altho it seems to cost slightly more. In reality it does not for its high quality eliminates unnecessary, wasteful failures and gives More Loaves Per Sack

Have you ever noticed the cloudy appe; Orange-Crush and Lemon-Crush whil
ing these rare-flavored drinks?
The reason for this cloudiness is also the reason, for the unequaled deliciousness of Orange-Crush and Lemon-Crush—for it is caused by the uniform distribution throughout the drinks of thousands of minute particles of the actual fruit oil pressed from fr-eshly picked oranges and lemons* The interesting process which has made thispossible was perfected five years ago byN.C.Ward* and is exclusive with Orange-Crush Company*. It marks one of the greatest steps forward ever taken in the preparation of soft drinks, for it brings to you, without preservatives, the pure* delightful flavors which have made oranges and lemons the favorite fruits in every home. The cloudiness is your guarantee of genuineness*
flavor and quality.
The booklet, “The Stoty of Ward’s Orange-Crush and Lemon-Crush,” gives full details regarding the making of these drinks. It shows how delicate flavors are obtained by combining the fruit oils with purest granulated sugar and citric add —the natural add of oranges and lemons. Send for this free booklet today. You will better understand why Orange-Crush and Lemon-Crush enjoy the largest sale of any fruit-flavored drinks
in the world.

The Sub Surrendered
Return your empty milk bottles promptly. Without bottles we can not make deliveries to you.
“During the late great war there was a .. German submarine that had to come to the surface and surrender to the British simply on account of the condition of the crew; it appears that about half of them had died at sea and the remainder were in a state of collapse, with the exception of the officers, who were in good physical condition. Some of the crew were in such an exhausted condition that they were crumpled up like inert masses of flesh and had to be carried to hospitals. After receiving some milk they all recovered to a fair state o| health within a few days. The good condition of the officers was due to the fact that they had had canned milk all the time, while the remainder of the crew had not had any.” Prof. P. M. Washburn IC. Review, March, 1020.
Even as the men of the German sub were vanquished by the lack of the life-giving substances in mik—so many children are losing their chance to grow up into # sturdy men and women by an insufficiency of milk in their daily diet. Milk is the factor of safety in the diet. It is a protective food. It makes good the deficiencies in other foods one may eat. For children it is indispensable—for adults it is a necessity. The vitamine content of milk encourages grolcth in the young, and gives increasing energy to those of riper years* Be on the safe side. Order a quart of milk for each one of your family. Let milk take the place of higher priced and less nutritious foods.
