Scott, of Warsaw, who was recently appointed commandant of the Indiana State Soldiers' Home, to succeed Colonel D. B- Kehlr. who tendered his reaignationto the board of trustees, r 0 . has decided to accept the appoint-

ment.

Mr. Scott was to have taken charge May I. No reason is given for his re

fuftal of the post after having once accepted it. Colonel Kehler will remain in charge untl a successor is choeen by the board ©f trustees at the
