The officers are Walter White, sergeant, chairman; Patrick Sheridan, traffic policeman, secretary, and Leonard Forsythe, lieutenant, treasurer. The board of directors includes the officers and George P. Beeson. Arthur McGee. John Dalton. Horace

Davis and William Larah.

The members will pay $2 each to the treasurer to be tamed over at the death of a member to the member's family or dependents. The first assessment is due April 1*. The money will be deposited in a local trust company, and the interest on the sum will be used to defray the

expenses of the organisation.

All active members of the department are eligible to membership on the payment of the first assessment. Failure to pay the first assessment bars the man from future member-

Charged With Setting Fire to BaraHeld at Detention Heme. Two boys, one thirteen and the other fourteen, living in the vicinity of East and McCarty streets. were_arrested Tuesday night by Motor Policemen Lenihan and Weddle after it is alleged they had set fire to a twostory frame barn at the rear of the home of Gus Mascari, 818 Greer street. The boys were slated at the City Prison on charges of arson and sent to the detention home. Firemen said the barn was damaged to the extent of $100. Firemen were called early today to extinguieh a fire in the rear of the room occupied by the Catellier Brothers shoe repair shop at 328 North Illinois street. Little damage was done.
