B. for having the largest i>er of its average attendance of the year In line at the annual rally kss meeting of the men’s Bible classes of Marion county Sunday afternoon at First Baptist church. The meeting was preceded by a parade with approximately twenty-four classes in line, headed by the Brookside tJ. B. Band. Ur. James &. Mc<»aw, of Pittsburg, was the speaker. His subject was ^Men’s Bible Classes and Their Relation to Christian Citizenship,” He said In part: Atheism at Wash, "Atheism is striking at the very loot of Americanism and is threatening the complete downfall of the gov. etnment and of the nation. "Without religion there will be no God in tha hearts of the people; with God excluded there will be no conscience; with the conscience gone titers will be no respect for the rights of their fellowmen and then follows utter lawlessness and anarchy." : '/: .
