A MEMORABLE WEEK
m
K
Thi» hae been a memorable week in the religious life of Indianapolis. The coal strike, the peace treaty and the high cost of living have not been the only topics discussed on our streets. The subject of RELIGION has had a large place in the minds of hundreds of Indianapolis people. The Seventh Simultaneous * Evangelistic Campaign of the churches is being held and in many churches over the city the Gospel of LOVE and TRUTH and LIFE is being proclaimed every night to thousands of eager listeners. The outstanding point of interest, however, has been the Noon Gospel Meetings at Keith’s Theater and the meetings in the First Baptist Church at night. More than a thousand people have been hearing Dr. Campbell Morgan in Keith's Theater every day during the week and as many more at the First Baptist Church each evening. Why this great crowd of people at a busy noon hour? Because a matchless preacher is preaching every da-y a matchless Gospel in a fashion which is gripping the hearts of men. Indianapolis believes in RELIGION, and for this reason the churches and the theater are filled with earnest men and women.

in her time, but and power of Dr. G. Campbell
Here are his evening subjects for next week: Monday—“THE ETHIC AND EVANGEL OF CHRIST.” Tuesday—“THE SEVERITY OF CHRIST AND THE REASON FOR IT.” Wednesday—“THE CENTRAL CALL OF CHRIST TO MEN; THE FUNDAMENTAL NOTES.” Thursday—“THE CENTRAL CALL OF CHRIST TO MEN; THE IMMEDIATE APPEAL.” Friday—“THE SUPERLATIVE CLAIMS OF CHRIST.” The themes at Keith’s theater each day next week will deal directly with the religious life of men. All these meetings supply a chance to every man and woman who believes in doing and standing by worth while things. - Here’s a chance for the man or woman who" have said that the church is ineffective. The church needs virile, red-blooded men to help apply'Christianity to the every day problems of life. Here’s a change for the man and the woman who believe that the poor and unfortunate are entitled to the help of the strong. Here’s a chance for the Church to go out into the city and invite into its fellowship the men and women who hunger for friendship and another chance in life.
Tomorrow would be a good day to begin a new career. You are invited to come.

Jews to Close Drive Mosdsy for Money tor *13.000,000 Relief Fas*. NEW YORK. November 22.-—Jews of this country, and especially Jews of New York, will observe Monday as a day of sorrow, and In several cities will have .parades not unlike funeral
processions, followed by memorial meetings, with addresses ah'! money gifts for sufferers. There T'Odll be closed on that day a drive for $lJl€06, 000 for Jewish relief. v v* The occasion is the, well authent. _ cated report t'hat 100.006 Jews have 1 been murdered In pogroms that started in Poland and extended to southern Russia. Apart from reports to Jews, murders of Jews are reported by Christian missionaries and Y. M. C. A. workers Just returned from there. Private letters are reaching American Jews telling of the murders. According to evidence that can not be gainsaid, it would seem that the murders In the Ukraine have been such as to put to blush all known murders of modern times. T’urks seem not to have been so unfeeling in dealing with Armenians. Simply race hatred Is all that is* known to have beep behind the pogroms. In New York, 1,500 organizations will have part In the public expressions of sorrow. - BIG CROWD AT TABERNACLE Newsboy*’ Band Play* a# Weal Side Revival Services.
