The Budget System
Six or eight expense items confront you periodically, such as:
Interest payments. Taxes. Insurance. Fuel bills. Vacation expenses. Your children’s schooling. These are fixed charges, and you'should meet them in a businesslike way, without difficulty, by use of the Budget System. ' You know very nearly what these expenditures will amount to. Set aside from your income every week, or month, certain amounts in your Mercantile Savings Account so that when these various expense items are due you. will have the ready money to p4y them. '
Perhaps you have not a Mercantile Savings Account-—if not, open one today. $1.00 will do to start with.
