(Special to The India as polls Hews] ATfDERBOX. Ind.. Ausust It.—Xfne persons were in a collision of two sutomobiles four miles northwest of Anderson Monday evening hut none was hurt seriously. Seven employes of the Remy electric plant here were being brought from Cicero by Ira Xoble When he stopped his autotnobile at a crossing to make some adjustments, an automobile driven by C, R. Neeee. of Franklin, struck Noble s car. One person suffered a dislocated shoulder and was taken ba' k to Ocero. Mias Anna Surbaugh. secretary to W. A. Denny, superintendent of the Anderson public schools suffered the fracture of an arm and R'llliam H. Surbaugh. her brother, a local insurance agent, and his wife were bruised when an automobile driven by Mr. Surbaugh was forced off the grade of the Pendleton pike near Anderson by another automobile skidding when passing the Surbaugh car. Thompson, superintendent of schools here, has been received by the board of trustees Mr. Thompson intends to do work in the University of Chicago during the coming year. No one has as yet been elected to succeed him. Ivan Kelley, a former teacher hi the high school, has returned here after about twenty months service overseas He haa been elected principal, to »ucneed Thomas Cavanaugh, who resigned hie position last spring.
