AMlvon V. Armstrc*!*, of Kokomo, one of the Jeadln* buainees men and philanthropist* of Indiana, died at 1:30 thia afternoon at the home of hi* •on-in-law. Prof. T. C. Howe, of Irvington. For the last two year* Mr. Armstrong had suffered from ummlc polaonin*. and had realized that hi* end might be near. Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong and the Howe* returned about a week ago from Harbor/ Spring*, Mich., where they _had been’ spending the summer, Hlnee then Mr.' Armstrong had failed rapidly. Thursday night he was seized with an acute attack of' hi that time had been lying in an unconscious state, the ben tin# of lids heart being almost the only sign of life that could be seen by the
