Mr. Landgraff, the efficient superintendent of tha cutting department, shows some elegant sample garments, cut in tha prevailing style to the season. They are richly worth seeing by those who oars to conform to the demands to fashion in smantial features. Years ago I leaned this motto, and it was all I bad to stick to, forall alee had failed me. It was down hill, and tha only brake I had gave way—kinder petered out—which was tha bridle bit; but I didn’t care a bit, for I knew I could "stick to Sanaa” with oa* hand, •bd, if need be, to the tail with the other. So "Old Candidate,” which was the name to my horse, started, and yon just ought to sea him run until ha ran smack against the ftfe to September, which kinder stopped him; tart he started, and I hang to “Old Gaadidate” by tha mane until ha ran aboat sixty days; and J. A. McKenxie told me he stopped att right, and no harm was done to me, and Maine was all ngbt, only they could not come eo far for clothing as 38 West Washington street.

When it was known this morning that the new board to directors had decided that tha recently, elected officers and directors had been properly chosen, tk* "independeats’s declared that they would not abide by the decision. Accordingly, when the noon session of the board was called to order, about fifteen grain dealers withdrew. They immediately established themselves in a room on the first floor of tha building, and arranged to receive the foreign markets by telegraph. A call-board was then established and a regular Indianapolis grain market quoted. ▲ number of important sales were made. Meanwhile tha nsoal call went on up-stein among the "regnlare,” jut as though nothieg had happened. A News reporter talked with a number of dealers, representing both faction* and all agree in regretting that affairs have taken the serious ti m that they have.
