Bearson, late of the firm of Dennis, Bearson <& Co., South Meridian street, in the Iowa railroad disaster of last Wednesday requesting them to break the news to his wife. A subsequent dispatch announced that the body thought to be Mr. Bearson’e was not his, bat another person unknown. This morning Kregelo & Sons received a telegram from H. 8. Boyce, railroad superintendent, that the first news was correct and that the budy would be here in the morning Mr. Eearsoq lived at 329 East Ohio street and is well known in this city. His body is said to have been terribly mutil-

Ten thousand people responded to the call to witness the ceremonies attending the dedication of the old John Brown monument at Oseawatomie, Kansas, yesterday. The oration was delivered by Senator Ingalls, and speeches were made by Charles Langston, Hon. C. Haakkeil, Col. D. R. Anthony. Hon. Sidney Clark, Hon S. A. Cobb, Cob John R Ritchie, Ool. St John, Johnson Clark and Dr. Updegrafib Reinstated. Naval Cadet William A. Gresham, of Indiana, has been reinstated in the naval academy by Secretary Thompsan.
