The Cnief Eire Engim-er was instructed to tafi the alarm boxes labeled in such a manner as to indicate where the key may be found. Mr. M.C. Wellman waa authoris’d to put the names of the street on all the corner lamps in the dty at 24 cents per name. Henderson avenue from Tinker to Twelfth street waa changed to Illinois. The Trustees of the City Hospital presented a communication in which they advised that a site for a hospital as near as possible ta the center of the population be row purchased, and that the present grounds be so id and the proceeds applied to the new purchase and the erection of a new hospital. The ordinance authorising the construction of a union slaughter house was made the special for the next Monday, alter which the Council adjourned.
