John Glenn School Corp, will hold Parent-Teacher Conferences from 12 noon to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4. Parents are urged to attend. Conferences provide an opportunity for you to discuss your child’s progress. It is an invaluable opportunity for you to gain information and also share perceptions. We welcome your visit and hope you will make yourselves at home in looking over our buildings and visiting with our teachers. Due to Parent-Teacher Conferences, students in grades 1-12 will attend school one-half day on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 4 &5. School lunches will not be served on either day. There will be no morning or afternoon kindergarten classes at Walkerton or North Liberty Elementary Schools, on Nov. 4 and 5. Students will be dismissed at 10:50 a.m. on both days at Walkerton, North Liberty Elementary Schools and Urey Middle School and at 11 a.m. from John Glenn High School. The JG Corp, staff is looking forward to this joint adventure in contributing to the best education possible for your child and hopes to see you at the Parent-Teacher Conferences. Following is additional information for individual schools: JGHS Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held from 12 noon to 5 p.m. and 5:45 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4. Parents may call the guidance secretary, Mrs. Carol King, at 586-3195, to schedule an appointment or parents may come to the school anytime during these hours. Parents who are not able to come on Monday, Nov. 4, may call and make an appointment for the individual teacher’s preparation time. Grade cards will be passed out before students are dismissed on Friday, Nov. Ist. Further questions may be answered by calling 5863195.
