Sports News (Continued from Page 6) Strahm led the way with 16 perfect serves. Lynna Potts contributed four aces and 10 assists. Tammy Wasteney racked up eight kills and Strahm also led in passing. The Lady Falcons rolled over CGA with scores of 15-10, 15-0. Lynna Potts and Brandee Easterday combined for six aces. A great total team effort resulted in eight kills, two block kills and consistent passing by the entire team. Glenn’s one loss last week came in a tough three game match against Marquette. Scores were 815, 15-12 and 6-15. Potts was perfect in serving and had five aces while Stephanie Flaugher had four kills. The team struggled in serve reception, giving up 14 points in game three in unforced errors. Glenn bounced back against South Central last Thursday with scores of 157 and 15-9. Becca Strahm continued her consistent serving with perfection. Jessica Traub also contributed five perfect serves and two aces while Tammy Wasteney led in passing and Lindsey Maze and Jessica

Traub combined for four kills. JV FOOTBALL TEAM DEFEATS BREMEN 5-0 On Saturday, the junior varsity football team for John Glenn defeated the Bremen Lions 5-0. Eric Bajer kicked a 30-yard field goal and Andy “Big Z” Zellers tackled a back in the end zone for a safety to earn the Falcons their five points. Defensively, Zellers recovered three fumbles and Mike Miser intercepted a pass. The junior varsity team finished its season with a 71 record. In the seven victories, the defense allowed only a total of 14 points. During the seven game win streak, they had four shut-outs.
