Summer Reading Ends At Library The “Go For The Gold” Summer Reading program ended on August 10, at the Walkerton Lincoln Twp. Public Library with the following children participating. The following children completed the entire program from the Creative Kids Daycare were Jamie Byler, Christopher Cordell, Michael Cordell, Nick Fuentes, Ashley Gilbert, Brandon Gilbert, Danielee Holmquest, Isaac Krohn, Devin Rice, Brian Ward, Jenny Ward and Patrick Wolff. Those completing the program from Mrs. Holland’s Summerschool class were Chris Buck, David Burton, Brad Christmen, Tom Cleveland, Bobby Dill, Tom Domsic, James Fry, Scott Fry, Amber Gross, Jeremy Haag, Jamie Hesters, Brandon Laizure, Bonnie Mesor, Thaddeus Pairitz, Jeremy Riddle, Josh Riddle and Carol Ritscher. This year children who read for the first prize received a bookmark and free ice cream cones from the Walkerton Dairy Queen; second prize was a United States flag pin and small pizzle and third prize was a “gold” medal and last prize a certificate for finishing and a free Kid’s Pack from Subway. The children did a great job and should be congratulated!!!
