Elliott, of Springfield, MO, will be the guest speaker at the First Baptist Church, in Walkerton, beginning with the Sunday morning services on Oct. the 13th through the 17th. The morning services begin at 9:30 and 10:30 and the evening services will be at 7 p.m. A nursery will be provided. The church is located at Clarke and Maine Streets and D. O. Van Dyne is the pastor. Elliott is a full-time evangelist. He and his wife, Virginia, have two children and two grandchildren. He graduated from Wichita State University, Witchita, Kansas and was saved during a revival and later surrendered to preach in 1972 while attending the Open Door Baptist Church, Haysville, Kansas. He entered Baptist Bible College, in Springifled, MO in Jan. of 1973 and graduated with a degree in theology in May of 1974. He pastored the Liberty Bapitst Church, Ontario, Calif., from Dec. 1974 to Feb. 1978. While serving in that capacity he and his wife were part of the faculty at Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College. It was during this time be began to lose his sight. In Oct. of 1978 he became the

pastor of the Faith Baptist Church, in Louisiana, Missouri and held that position until Sept, of 1989. At that time he entered fulltime evangelism. His work now concerns encouraging and strengthening local churches while endeavoring to win the lost to Christ. IN APPRECIATION The family of Carron E. There will also be a two mile walk/run from Fitness Forum to the old firehouse and back. Cost of the fun/run/walk is just $lO and the proceeds will go toward research by the physical therapy foundation.
