Team Program (STP) which included 2,100 active and retired law enforcement professionals from 54 nations and each state in the United States. Ms. Hostetler, a deputy United States Marshal for the Northern District of Indiana, served for 28-days and resided at the University of Georgia, Athens during her stay. Laura was assigned as a security

supervisor at the Equestrian, Mountain Biking and Modern Pentathalon venues. Many STP’s also volunteered to work other venues in their off time and Laura was fortunate enough to be present when the United States Women’s Soccer Team won the gold! Though there is no official confirmation of whether a program similar to this will be held at the 2000 Games, in Sydney, many STP’s were asked to provide their names to the Australian Olympic Organizing Committee to be on an invitation list to Sydney in the event they do decide to utilize an international police force. Charles R. and Reatha M. (Rookstool) Vandall, of Walkerton, will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married on Oct. 10, 1946, in Hico, West Virginia. In 1958 they moved their family from Falls View, West Virginia to Walkerton, making it their home. The couple have raised four children: Dean, Sonja, John and Paulina. They also have eight grandchildren; five step grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren and six step great grandchildren. The couple are both retired from AustenalHowmet Corp., in LaPorte.
