DNR Offers Reserved Water Fowl Hunts
Six Department of Natural Resources properties offer reserved waterfowl hunts this season. Monroe Reservoir Waterfowl hunters may apply for random drawings to participate in the hunts at any of these six properties for a total of three hunting days. Hunters may not apply for the same reserved hunting date on more than one property (i.e. one may not apply to hunt at both Kankakee and Kingsbury on Oct. 25). Each applicant could be chosen for up to three reserved hunt dates. ter can hunt as a guest in reserved blinds. Applications for waterfowl reserved hunts are available at all Fish and Wildlife areas, Monroe Reservoir and the Division of Fish and Wildlife, 402 W. Washington St., Room W-273, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Completed applications for these six reserved hunts must be received no later than Sept. 30, 1996. Only one application is accepted per hunter. Duplicate applications will be disqualified. Applicants must possess a valid 1996 hunting license and a 1996 Indiana waterfowl stamp. Youth and lifetime license holders do not need an Indiana waterfowl stamp. All applicants will be notified by mail of results.
