ton, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Officers for the new year will be installed as follows: Carol Knop, president; Shirley Awald, vice president; Nadine Keiper, secretary and Mildred McKesson, treasurer. The club will celebrate the 76th year of its existence in Walkerton, in March. The members are looking forward to getting together again after their three month summer hiatus. CARD CLUB NEWS The senior card club winners last week in euchre were listed as follows, first place winner was' Martha Young at 57, second was Helen Verkier with 56 and Ruth Ullery was third with 54 and Leon McKesson coming in fourth with 52. Pinochle winners were Morris Searfoss at 1032, Helen Verkier at 863, Marilyn Stull with 811 and Marge Groves came in with 807. Due to lack of participation, this will be the last euchre scores reported. We will continue to play pinochle on Thursdays. If you like to play cards - please come! Open House And Worship Set In Walkerton on Sun. The public is invited to a very special Christian Education Open House and worship, on Sunday, Sept. 8, at the First Presbyterian Church, 512 Georgia St., Walkerton. The Open House will begin at 9:30 a.m. and run until 9:45 a.m. During this time there will be opportunities for students of all ages as well as parents, to meet with the Christian Education staff, enjoy a light snack and become acquainted with the progtam by participating in several learning centers. Following the open house there will be a special worship service especially designed for participation by both young and old!
