FAMILY REUNION HELD AUG. 25 The 66th annual Stickler family reunion was held on Sunday, August 25, at the Johnson Twp. Community Building with 46 coming from Ypsilanti and Niles, Michigan; Fort Wayne, South Bend, Goshen, Mishawaka, Bremen, Knox, Tyner, Chesterton, Donaldson and Walkerton. Elizabeth and Floyd Erickson, a chalk artist, from Fort Wayne, entertained with her drawing.

Tom Barden, of Ypsilanti, Ml, came the fartherest. Lillian Rough, Walkerton, was the oldest present and Jared, 10 month old son of Tonya and James Ruhnow, of Donaldson, was the youngest present. A wonderful pot luck dinner was served and a white elephant sale was enjoyed by all. President for the next year is Floyd Dipert; vice president is Lloyd Barden and Gayla Dipert is secretary-treasurer. The

SURPRISE PARTY ENJOYED RECENTLY Mr. and Mrs. Chris Gensinger and family, of Winona Lake, held a surprise Hawaiian birthday party for Gene and Dorothy Gensinger, of Walkerton. Attending were family members along with Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Roush, of Plymouth and Ray and Pat Carbiener, of Mishawaka. A fun time was had by all. Mahlon Jacob, Russell Hartsough, Bryce Rohrer, Bill Morris, Roy Freeman homes were brought together with photo albums, home movies and memorabilia. These families met each others’ new families and spent an afternoon swimming, chatting and eating. Some even walked the yards where kickball games, parades and wagon trains were held. Those who attended were Evelyn Hartsough, John Hartsough and his daughter Hayley, Joe and Barb Hartsough and their three children, all of Mishawaka; Janice (Hartsough) Brennan and her three children, from Indianapolis; Jim Hartsough who flew in from North Carolina. two children, from Walkerton, Ken Rohrer and his step son, from Indianapolis. Also in attendance were Roy and Helen Freeman, of Plymouth, Mahlon and Patty Jacob, of Walkerton, Jennifer (Jacob) and Steve Wentworth and their two children, of Warsaw, Jeff and Gretchen Jacob and their two children, from Evanston, 111. Os the Morris family, Mike and Wendy Morris and their two children, from Plymouth came along with Sandy (Morris) and Richey Peterson and their son Rusty. Lastly, Bill and Beth Carter, of Walkerton, who were most gracious hosts, along with Lynn (Carter) Millikan and her four children and Sue (Carter) Adams. Laura (Carter) Chase and her seven children were unable to attend that day. Everyone enjoyed the reunion and said they wanted to meet again.
