VOICE OF THE PEOPLE - -

UREY PARK Last Saturday, at the produce market at Urey Park, downtown Walkerton, I was told that I had the name wrong and that the market was suppose to be by the middle school. Well, I’m sorry, but that park is Place Park and it has always been that and hopefully it will remain, Place Park. Our market was a success! I hope that more people will come and sell and of course we need more buyers. We had some mighty fine corn and vegetables sold. School has started and the young people are roaming the area walking and with bikes. Remember kids, it is your advantage to look both ways and to stop at the stop signs. Drivers keep a close look-out for the kids. See you at the produce market on Saturday. Sincerely Nedra Williams *** Kindness has never yet done anyone serious harm.
