ORCUTT INITIATED INTO ALPHA LAMBDA DELTA The Indiana University Bloomington chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta, a national scholastic freshman honor society, initiated new members in a recent ceremony. Among initiates from Walkerton, is Jamie Orcutt, of 72370 Walkerton Trail. Alpha Lambda Delta recognizes superior academic achievement by freshmen. Students must have obtained a 3.5 or higher grade-point average to be eligible for membership. There are more than 250 Alpha Lambda Delta chapters throughout the country with a membership of more than 450,000. The IU chapter was established in 1931 and is one of the largest in the nation.
