getting help to work, also get your application sent to the office of the Walkerton Chamber. If you would like to help on the festival committee, give the Chamber a call. The Chamber will be having a golf outing on Wednesday, July 31, at Swan Lake. This is a fun time and I am looking forward to a great time handing out refreshments and tormenting everyone. Barbara Houk and Randy Lemert have been working on the arrangements and prizes. Our steaks will be cooked by Carl of Ray & Kenny’s. I sure hope that he cooks mine rare. August 1, 2 and 3 is sidewalk sale days to the area. This would be a good time for organizations to have information booths along the streets also. Our main street needs lots of activities to help our downtown stores to continue being in existence. These people have not given up on our town, so lets give them all the help that we can. Clip these coupons and cash in on the SAVINGS!) Well it is time for me to pick up my two fellers and head out to play cards at Al’s Diner, Koontz Lake. They still start at one p.m. Anyone is welcome to play. I am a good loser, most of the time. I lose most of the time.
