The bride is a 1992 graduate of Bremen High School and a 1996 graduate of Albion College, Albion, Michigan. Center St., Plymouth. The regular meeting will begin at 10 a.m. with guest speaker, Roger Voelker, of South Bend, regional coordinator of the Citizens Action Coalition. Mr. Voelker will speak on the outlook for the next state legislative session and the part seniors can play in alerting our local legislative members to the feelings of seniors and their families. He will also give the history of the Coalition’s efforts to protect consumers in utility rate changes, insurance challenges and other areas affecting seniors. All 5,238 Marshall Co. AARP members are invited to attend. Refreshments and door prizes will be given. The annual AARP picnic will be held on Thursday, August 22, at the Lion’s Den, in Centennial Park, Plymouth. Ham and beverages will be furnished. Attendees are to bring their own table service and a covered dish to pass beginning at 11 a.m. Mr. Peter Lindstrom, of the Bowen Center, will be the speaker following the meal. Games with prizes and fun fellowship for all to enjoy will end the afternoon.
