Entertainment Coming To Potato Creek Jump Start Band And Fireworks Make plans today to enjoy a lively evening of fireworks and a performance by Jump Start Band, on Saturday, June 29, at Potato Creek State Park. The band’s performance, which is free of charge, will be held at the Beach, at 7:30 p.m. A spectacular fireworks show over Worster Lake will follow the concert at 9:00 p.m. Lawn chairs or blankets are suggested to ensure comfortable seating. Jump Start Band demonstrates the close cultural ties northern Indiana shares with the blues and jazz music of Chicago. The audience can expect to hear some traditional and modern favorites from rock and roll to rhythm and blues from a band that thrives on variety. Worster Lake will be closed between 8 and 10 p.m. to all boats in the interest of safety. The standard $2.00 per car fee or $5.00 for out of state license plates, will not be collected between 6 and 9 p.m. on this Saturday, June 29th, only for this special event. The Lakeville Lions CLub, who cosponsor the fireworks display, will be collecting free will donations to help offset the cost.
