CHARLOTTE TALBOTT Charlotte A. Talbott, 77, of 501 Pennsylvania Ave., Plymouth, passed away at 1:08 p.m., on Tuesday, May 28, in St. Joseph’s Hospital of Marshall County. She was born on Nov. 3, 1918, in Fulton County and resided in the Plymouth area since 1939. Surviving are two daughters, Jane Bigler, of Plymouth and Dixie Laizure of Walkerton; 11 grandchildren; 28 greatgrantchildren; two sisters, Olive Watkins, of Grass Creek and Guyla Cunningham, of Kewanna and a brother, William Willoughby, of Kewanna. A son William, preceded her in death in 1972. Services were held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, Plymouth with burial in the 1.0.0. F. Cemetery, Kewanna. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Moose and Eagles, all of Plymouth and the American Legion Post 189, of Walkerton. GEORGE HEMMINGER George Hemminger, 71, of 1201 A Ohio Street,
Walkerton, passed away at 5:10 a.m., on Wednesday, May 29, of natural causes, in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was born on Jan. 14, 1925, and was a butcher. Surviving are six sisters, Lilly Weldon, of Koontz Lake, Laura Laßere and Eva Miller, both of Walkerton, Nellie Garbison and Blanch Lester, both of Lacoochee, Florida and Dora Miller, of Winslow, Arizona and two brothers, Walter, of Winslow, Arizona and Grover, of Lacoochee, Florida. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel, with burial in Grovertown Cemetery. He was a veteran of the Army serving in World War II and the Korean War. Thank you so much for all the cards, letters, flowers, plants and especially all the prayers during my stay at the hospital and since I am recuperating at home and going to re-hab. Special thanks to Mom and Dad; Marie and Tom; Kathy and Roger; LuAnn and Darwin; Gary Clark; Linda and Dave; Candy Long; Connie Cline; Rev. and Dorothy Lacy; Walkerton United Methodist Church; LaPorte Bethany Lutheran Church; Miss Anderson’s 4th grade class; Nicki and Bobby; Hal and Mary Brown; JoAnn and Duane Graham; VFW Post 1954 and most of all I to Bart Clark.
