REAL SERVICES NEWS FROM WALKERTON On Monday, of last week, all sites were closed due to Memorial Day holiday. On Tuesday everyone had something to tell each other about their long holiday weekend. Wednesday was a wonderful day! We had Maxine Worthington and her friends entertain us all. Just before lunch Eleanor Leming gave the blessing. Special guests were the seniors from the LaPaz REAL Services site and we hope that they will come back again real soon. On Thursday we entertained ourselves with chit chat. Friday is the day we look forward to as it is our sing-a-long day with Virginia Anhold leading the singing and Verice Walz at the piano. Dates to remember include June 12 when another foot clinic will be held and Verl Haag and Florence Seeking will be here to entertain. June 14 (Flag Day) we will be honored to have Maxine Worthington and friends return to entertain us. CARD CLUB NEWS The senior citizen Card Club gathered on Thursday with pinochle being played

Times Have Changed... Hearing Aids Have Too!

It was only 40 years ago that a hearing aid was about the size of a \ shoe box. Today they have become i so small that they can be fit incon- | spiciously behind the ear or entirely I inside it. But besides getting smaller I they have gotten better. Today’s 1 hearing aids are clearer sounding, ] more adjustable, and easier to oper- I ate as well. If you don’t hear as well I as you did back then, wouldn’t this I be a great time to come in for a trial I fitting? Today's hearing aids are I truly a marvel of high technology.
