WANDER INDIANA ADVENTURE ENJOYED BY STUDENTS On Tuesday and Wednesday, May 7 and 8, North Liberty Elementary fourth grade teachers took 61 । students and 15 adults on a I Wander Indiana Adventure. | This was the first trip of this kind and proved to be a memorable experience for all involved. We would like to thank I all of the parents who cheerfully volunteered to accompany their child and his or her classmates on this exciting journey. We could never have made the trip without the help of these adventurous adults: Linda Kopaz, Lisa Brodzinski, Jill Nowak, Rick Slagle, Cyndy Williams, Kim Price, Bob Bussard, Pam Dosman, Sue Malkowski, J. Parsons, April Piotrowicz, Cathy Schmitt and John Kopaz. These people took vacation days or personal days from work, left spouses and other children at home, rearranged schedules and read piles of tourist information to be able to spend 36 continuous hours with 61 children, sleep on a gym floor, ride miles on a school bus, walk miles of trails in the muddy woods, downtown Indianapolis and around museums and they still maintained their sense of humor! We would also like to thank principal Brent Kaufman and superintendent Dave McKee for the support they gave us; JG School Board for the approval of this trip, bus drivers Becky Snyder and Sherri Menefee for safely driving and searching out the best routes, our calling mom, Mrs. Ball, Tri Kappa,^ Falcon 500 and the North Liberty PTA. We also wish to thank the parents of our students for their efforts in getting their children prepared for the trip and for entrusting their children to us so we could make their study of Indiana history come alive. Our students had a G-R-E-A-T time and learned new and exciting things about our state. Pam Katterheinrich, Joe Hunt & Chris Houston.
