Jack and Arlene Wise, of Walkerton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Andrea Elaine to Randall Scott Brown, son of Harold “Butch” and Pat Brown, of North Judson. Here are the results of last weeks euchre and pinochle games. In euchre the top winner was Doris DePoy with 66 followed very closely by Helen Verkier with 65; Ruth UHery at 61 and Audrey Solmos with 60. In pinochle the top point getter was Norma Brems with 669; Liz Moreau with 617; Morris Searfoss with 607 and Helen Verkier with 577. REAL SERVICES NEWS On Monday of last week the seniors who gather at the REAL Services site, in Walkerton, had a day of visiting with one another. We really miss our usual greeters on Mondays, Harold and Hazel Schweder, because of illness. On Tuesday we gave Elinore Leming a warm welcome from her winter’s stay and she is getting to be a regular traveler. On Wednesday we discussed the upcoming volunteer dinner to be held in the evening. There are 35 people who volunteer work throughout the year at the Walkerton site and all traveled later in the evening to the dinner held at South Bend for an enjoyable time. On Thursday Florence Seeking, Verl Haag and Walt Holderread were here to sing and play music for us. Pastor Art Smith from the Blissville Church led us in prayer. Friday we had our regular sing-a-long with Laura Minter at the piano and Virginia Anhold leading the singing. JGHS Lists Honor Roll The third nine week honor roll at John Glenn High School for 1995-96 school year has been released as follows: Distinguished students have a 3.8 to 4.0 grade average; high honor students have a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.8 and honors students grade point average is 3.1 to 3.5.
