Jimtown could not pull away from the scrappy Falcons. LADY FALCONS WIN OVER SATELLITES Glenn’s Lady Falcons recorded a 52-42 victory over visiting South Central Monday night, Dec. 11, to improve to 6-3 overall and are off to their best start since 1983. The loss dropped the Satellites to 3-5 on the year. The Falcons came out flat and struggled throughout the nonconference fray but still managed to lead at all the stops. Glenn led 12-6 at the end of the first quarter and threatened to open up a much bigger lead. But the Satellites took advantage of the locals miscues to stay close and even knotted the score at 17 late in the second period. A brief spurt by Coach Scott Hostetler’s club enabled them to take a slim 23-19 bulge to the dressing room at halftime. The visitors kept close much of the second half, as the winners just could not shake the hustling Satellites. Glenn did manage to stretch its lead to 38-30 at the third stop. South Central could get no closer than five points the rest of the way as the locals enjoyed their biggest lead of 10 points with the final tally. Junior point-guard Lin-
