| BRIAN R. STOUT Brian Richard Stout, 34, of 102 Grissom Drive, . Walkerton, passed away at 4:30 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 2, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, after an illness. He was born on May 12, 1961, in South Bend. On March 26, 1983 he married Shelly Marie Cox, in Mishawaka, who survives. He was employed as a shipping-receiving operator for New Energy, of South Bend. Also surviving are a daughter, Rachel, at home; a son, Ryan, at home; his parents, Lorraine and Frank Stout, of South Bend and a sister, Kimberly Deßailey, of South Bend. Services were held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 6, in the Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home, Walkerton with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton. He was a member of the Musculai Dystrophy I Association and ABATE, H South Bend. He was active | in the Walkerton Little ^League. CARL G. SMITH Carl G. was born on July 19, 1915, in Orleans, Ind., and on Jan. 19, 1935, he married Dorothy Taggart, in Paoli, Ind., who preceded him in death in 1972. He retired as a carpenter from Carpenter’s Local 1485, Hobart and as a real estate broker. Surviving are two daughters, Carlene Simpson, of Walkerton and Nancy Hussey, of Deerfield Beach, Florida; a son, David L., of Chesterton; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Eva Bannister, of Hope, Ind. and a brother, Paul, of Marion. A daughter, Shirley Ann, preceded him in death. Services were held at 8 p.m. on Saturday at the Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel, with burial in Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Koontz Lake Missionary Church Youth Fund.

HELEN HENDRON i Helen Hendron, 92, of I Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth, formerly of i Koontz Lake, passed away | at 10:15 p.m., on Monday, Nov. 27, in the nursing home after an illness. She was born on Oct. 31, 1903, in Chicago. She married Lawrence P. Hendron, in 1922, in Chicago, who preceded her in death on March 2, 1974. Surviving are two sons, Lawrence, of Calumet City, 111. and James, of Koontz Lake; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Koontz Lake, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, 111.
