We are the biggest veterans organization in the world and have one of the biggest voices in Washington and we must maintain that status if we are to grow. It’s not the price you pay to belong, it’s the price you paid to be eligible to belong. The price of dues aren’t much considering what you get: a discount on drug perscriptions, a discount on eye care, free life insurance, etc., etc, and down the line, plus helping with unfortunate children and veterans in the hospital who paid a larger price than you and I. We have a donation box down at the post for veterans at LaFayette home. They need socks, toiletries, pajamas, combs, tooth brushes, etc., etc. Feel welcome to give.
