Rock of Israel is a 22-year old outreach to Jewish people. It is a missionary program that seeks to bring the gospel of Christ to Jews in America. Rev. Doug Carmel will be presenting the message in Walkerton. Rev. Carmel is a Jewish man himself, who has been a convert to Christianity for 10-years now. He will use the book of Exodus from the Bible to show typologies of Jesus Christ in the building and the function of the Tabernacle in Old Testament Israel. A free-will offering will

Mr. and Mrs. David Hille, of South Bend and formerly of North Liberty, are the proud parents of a baby boy, born on Saturday, Dec. 2. He weighed in at seven pounds and one ounce and is 20 inches long. Paternal grandparents are Dale and Sharon Hille, of North Liberty. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth and Tammy Schuman would like to announce the birth of a son, Hunter Ryan, bom on Nov. 22. He weighed in at nine pounds and 14 ounces and measured 22 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Robert and Vera Zellers, of North Liberty and paternal grandparents are Fred and Mary Jane Hudgins, of Michigan City. Maternal great-grandparents are Virginia Ross, of North Liberty and paternal greatgrandparents are Kenneth and Nellie Schuman, of Michigan City.
