WILLIAM H. ADKINS William H. Adkins, 54, of 308 Roosevelt Road, Walkerton, passed away at 11:15 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 17, at his home after an illness. He was born on Feb. 21, 1941, in Meadow Bridge, West Virginia. He married Pamela Baughman on March 26, 1988, in Walkerton, who survives. He was a tool and die supervisor at United Technology, Bourbon. He was a graduate of Illinois

Silver Maple Lane, Elkhart, passed away at 2:53 a.m., on Sat., Nov. 18, at Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo, Mich., from injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Three Rivers, Mich., about 3 p.m., on Friday. According to police Jassen M. Bender, 20, of Three Rivers, was driving east on Mich. 60 when he apparently lost control of his car, crossed the center line and collided head-on with Wilson-Spicer’s auto, which was westbound on the highway. Joe M. Wilson, of North Liberty. She married Carl R. Spicer, on May 19, 1993, in Puerto Valletta, Mexico, who survives along with a son, Zachary J. Spicer, at home; her parents; two sisters, Tamara Bettinger, of Kokomo and Karen Cornellis, of South Bend; maternal grandmother, Vada Sisco, New Carlisle and paternal grandmother, Martha Alice Wilson, New Carlisle. A son, Alexander R. Spicer, born on Friday, passed away on Sunday. Services were held for the both of them at 1 p.m., on Tuesday at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, South Bend, with burial in New Carlisle Cemetery. She was a 1985 graduate of New Prairie High School and a nursing student at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo. Memorial contributions may be made to NBD Bank, of Elkhart. Couple Celebrates Anniversary Albert and Alice Van Wanzeele, of 11233 E. 400 S., Otterbein, Ind., celebrated their 50th wed- i ding anniversary with family and friends, at St. Charles Church and Hall, recently. A Walkerton native, Albert and his family lived west of Walkerton until 1968. He is now engaged in farming north of Otterbein. Alice is retired from teaching in Syracuse, South Bend, Walkerton and Otterbein. They have five children: Steve, of Plainfield, Susan Scheessele, of Yorktown, Virginia, Davis, of Mon- । ticello, - Dennis, of- - and Alan, of Otterbein.
