FALCON DRAW REDSKINS IN NSC OPENER Glenn’s Lady Falcons rolled to a convncing 49-35 Northern State Conference lictory over the Redskins, if Knox, in girls high chool basketball action 'riday night on the local ardwood. The win evened Jlenn’s overall record at 1and upped their league nark to 1-0. Knox falls to -1 overall and in NSC Jay. The local gals kept the pressure on in the second Quarter with good half:ourt defense and a smooth unning offense to build a JO-14 bulge at the interpission. Glenn enjoyed a 38-25 ead at the end of the third rame. Knox closed to vithin 39-31 early in the jourth period. But a three joint play by the Falcon’s Crystal Brooke built the ead back to double digits md the visitors could get io closer.

Bridget Honaker paced a well balanced Falcon attack with 14 points. Angel Dietrich added 10 tallies with Lindsay O’Connor and Heidi Wasteney chipping in with eight points apiece. Six foot freshman, Beth Honaker, of the Falcons led all rebounders with seven boards. The winners shot at a 35 percent clip from the field, sinking 18 of 51 attempts.
