Couple To Celebrate Anniversary mm m John and Phyllis Dolph, 18208 W. 7th Road, Plymouth, will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house, on Sunday, Nov. 12, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at their home. John Dolph and Phyllis Roush were united in marriage on Nov. 6, 1955, at the Pine Creek Church of the Brethren, North Liberty. They have seven children, Jo Ann Nichols, Wanatah; Dennis, Walkerton; Dean, Lakeville; Thelma Reed, Bremen; Florence (deceased); Betty Thiede, Windfall and Alice, at home. They also have eight grandchildren. They both are retired (dairy farmers after 36 years and are now employed at ;BPC, in Plymouth, for the past three years. They have been Marshall County residents all of their lives. SENIOR CARD CLUB The Walkerton Senior Card Club winners last week were, Tuesday in euchre: first, Milner Capes 76; second, Vi Masterman 72; third, Ruth Ullery 69; fourth, Chuck Minter 67. The pinochle winners on Thursday were: first, Helen Verkier 659; second, Orville Klinedinst 633; third, Kate Capes 630 and fourth, Liz Moreamwith 624. REAL SERVICES NEWS WALKERTON Winter is upon us. Many of our regular people have flown the coop :o Florida or other parts in he sun. We call them •now birds. Some who are itaying on the home front ind are very dedicated to he program are Harold and Tazel Schweder who entertain us on Mondays. Tuesday we celebrated Jalloween with table iecorations of little pumpkins at each place setting md nut cups of candy for a reat. Verl Haag brought n the pumpkins and we vish to extend a big thank /ou to him. On Wednesday we velcomed a new friend, Emily Lambert, of LaPorte, md we hope she will return •oon. Thursday was our
day for visiting. Morris Searfoss led the table prayer. Friday was our usual sing-a-long with Verice Walz at the piano . and Virginia Anhold leading the singing. This Thursday, Nov. 9, Maxine Worthington and friends will be here to entertain. The Nov. and Dec. birthdays will be celebrated on Thursday, Nov. 16. Also flu shots will be given on the 16th, so bring in your Medicade card. Nov. 29 we will be entertained by Violet Wolff and group. We are sorry to
