Walkerton Town Board Minutes (Delayed From Last Week) New Business: Trick or treat hours were set for Sunday, October 29 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Dave Bolze told the council that he has to start adding more chlorine to our water because of the new water main construction. Our normal chlorine level is .1 to .2 parts per million, and we are required by IDEM to keep the chlorine level at .5 parts per million during construction and for thirty days following completion. ’Residents will notice a change in the color, smell and taste in their water. A notice will be put in the paper. The clerk asked the council if they would like to put a Welcome Festival Goers ad in The Indepen- , dent News. The council voted not to place an ad. Gene Reese made the motion to approve claims 1110 through 1146 for $90,695.28, manual claims totalling $2,003.74 and payroll docket dated 9-27-95 for $25,534.83 Seconded by Hartsell. Carried. about everyone and everybody and we all said goodbye to Mary Jane Beaty as her family is taking her back to California. It was very nice to see Mrs. Beaty again and we all wish her well. On Wednesday Morris Searfoss entertained with some jokes and led us in the Lord’s prayer before our meal. Thursday was a special day for us as we were celebrating our September and October birthdays.
