Conferences Nov. 2 & 3
i John Glenn School Corporation will hold Parent-Teacher Conferences, from 12 noon to 8 p.m., on, Thursday, Nov. 2. ^Parents are urged to attend. Conferences provide an opportunity for you to discuss your child’s progress. It is an intvaluable opportunity for you to gain information and also ishare perceptions. We welcome your visit and hope you will 4make yourselves at home in looking over our buildings and 'visiting with our teachers. I t Due to Parent-Teacher Conferences, students in grades 1-12 a will attend school one-half day on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 2 and 3. School lunches will not be served on either day. Morning kindergarten classes will meet at Walkerton Elementary and North Liberty Elementary on Thursday, Nov. ^2. There will be no morning kindergarten classes at Walkerton or North Liberty Elementary on Wednesday, Nov. 1 and ^Friday, Nov. 3. There will be no afternoon kindergarten classes at either Walkerton or North Liberty Elementary on ^Thursday, Nov. 2 and Friday, Nov. 3. f Students will be dismissed on Nov. 2 and 3 at 10:50 a.m. at Walkerton Elementary; 10:50 a.m. at North Liberty lElementary; 10:50 a.m. at Urey Middle School and at 11:00 ta.m. at John Glenn High School. 11 The John Glenn School Corporation staff is looking forward to this joint adventure in contributing to the best education possible for your child and hopes to see you at ^Parent-Teacher Conferences. Following is additional information for individual schools. JOHN GLENN HIGH SCHOOL Parent-Teacher Conferences.will be held from 12 noon to 5 >.m. and 5:45 to 8 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 2. Parents may :all the guidance secretary, 586-3195, to schedule an appoinment or parents may come to the school anytime during hese hours. Parents who are not able to come on Nov. 2 nay call and make an appointment for the individual eacher’s preparation time. Grade cards will be passed out before students are lismissed on Wednesday, Nov. 1. Further questions may be answered by calling 586-3195. UREY MIDDLE SCHOOL Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, iov. 2, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. and 5:45 to 8 p.m. You tay sign up to confer with your child’s teachers at the signp table at the school or with Mrs. Cronk or Mrs. Snell prior ) Nov. 2. Mrs. Cronk, guidance counselor, will also be vailable for conferences. Group or individual conferences dll be available. J G Falcons Lose To No. 3 North Judson The John Glenn Falcons were outscored Friday night in Sectional action of the Gass 2-A division by North Judson, 62-21. The number 3 ranked Blue Jays will meet the number 1 ranked Bremen Lions this Friday in Sectional action. Scoring for Glenn was Brett Humphry with the first touchdown of the night for the Falcons, he caught a 15-yard pass from Brian Snell for the six points. Rusty Young had a touchdown by catching a 50-yard pass from Snell. Extra points were acquired by a successful kick by Brett Humphry and a pass from Young to Snell for two. The other touchdown was made by Nick Medich with a six yard pass from Snell. The extra point failed. The Falcons record for the 1995 football season ended with three wins and seven losses. In the game for North Judson Jim Styburski, Robert Shidler and Clint Howard all had over 100 yards each rushing for the win. The team as a whole gained 479 yards rushing.
