both of Argos; and a paternal stepgrandmother, Corrine Mechling of Tippecanoe. A daughter, Mary Irene McMichael, died in 1989. Services will be held at a later date. The Nusbaum Elkin Funeral Home, Walkerton, was in charge of the arrangements. Cremation has taken place. He was a member of the Walkerton Volunteer Fire Department and attended the First Baptist Church, Walkerton. CHARLES A. JUCKETT Charles Arthur Juckett, 60, of New Buffalo, Michigan, passed away at 7:15 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 29, at Memorial Hospital, Michigan City, after a one-year illness. He was born on May 14, 1935, in Westville to Paul M. and Blanche E. Holecek Juckett. He married Joyce Lee Bays, in LaPorte, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Charlie P., of New Buffalo and two sisters, Bernice Juckett, of LaPorte and Doris Rhodes, of Walkerton. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a lifetime resident of the area and worked for 15 years as a machinist for Dwyer Products. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Lighthouse Church of God, New Buffalo, of which he was a member, with burial in Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. MARIE T. COOMES Services for Marie T. Coomes, 83, of Redwood Road, North Liberty, will be held at 10 a.m., on Thursday, Oct. 5, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, South Bend, with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, South Bend. Mrs. Coomes passed away at 4:40 a.m., on Monday, Oct. 2, in her home. She was bom on Feb. 2,1912, in Marion and lived in South Bend most of her life. On August 7, 1940, in South Bend, as Marie T. Shaffer Skinner, she married Edward A. Coomes, who preceded her in death on March 7, 1992. Surviving are three daughters, Jane A. Hinkebein, of St. Louis, Mary A. Roth, of Fairfield, Conn, and Martha R. Gill, of South Bend; a son, Thomas E., of North Liberty
