The meeting was called to order at 7:05 a.m. by David Sheaks, vicepresident, in the absence of Richard Warner, president, who was out of town on vacation. Other council members present were Gerry Brown, Ronald Kinas and Eric Morris. The press was represented by Betty Benson of the South Bend Tribune. David Sheaks read the proposal submitted by EV Contract Mans agement Services which included four changes requested by the council and agreed upon by Paul Lindgren EV Contract Manage- [ ment Services. Eric Morris made the motion to acept the proposal for the temporary management services of the water, wastewater and street departments from EV Contract Management Services, Inc., as amend- [ ed for a cost of $1,400.00 per week with the stipulation that either party may terminate the agreement . by providing a ten day written [ notice to the other party. Motion seconded by Gerry Brown. The I vote was: Eric Morris, Gerry Brown and David Sheaks all yea and > Ronald Kinas, nay.
